Ofir Oz is an award-winning Israeli-French author, blogger, and podcaster.
His second novel, The First Name (Pardes, 2014), earned him the Promising Writer Award presented by the Israeli Ministry of Culture.
His third novel, The Best of All Worlds (Afik, 2020), received critical acclaim in Israel upon its publication in Hebrew. An English edition is forthcoming in the United States.
Ofir’s work has been published in Michigan Quarterly Review, The Short Story Project, Litbreak Magazine, Jewish Fiction, London Independent Short Story Prize, and many other venues.
Since 2011, Ofir has been writing the blog Break the Drawer and co-hosting a podcast with writer Shirz Afik that helps writers publish their work.
